I can’t think of the last time I needed quick access to Google Plus,  Google Groups, or My Account settings (among many others). So, it sure felt nice when I discovered I can declutter my Apps Grid.


How?  Good ol’ Drag’n Drop!  They’re not gone, they’re just slightly out of sight–helping me to reduce the number of items to pick from.  I might re-admit the Docs icon, but in reality I usually just prefer to see all of my files within Drive. Obviously, your customization will be–well, customized to your needs.

I love stuff like this.  It comes back to reducing decision fatigue.
